Ukraine appeared on maps for the first time 16 years ago as the second largest country in Europe. People from Europe constantly wonder what Ukraine is. Is it only smaller Russia? Do Ukrainians speak their own language? Are they ruled by mafia?
Despite difficulties, this huge unknown country has survived, solidified and now is slowly but steadily opening itself to the West. A political nation is created which appeared for the first time during the Orange Revolution. We have supported independent Ukraine since its early beginnings for sentimental reasons as we are connected by the rich history of a common state and also for geopolitical reasons. As long as independent Ukraine exists, there is no room for imperial Russia. Throughout the whole period of its existence, we have been passionately discovering Ukraine for ourselves and for others.
